Rogers

Mr. Rogers is Director of Advanced Programs for Maxar, where he is responsible for portfolio leadership of space mission concept initiatives, technology demonstrations, and flight programs for the US Government.  Prior to joining Maxar, he was the Principal Program Manager for Disruptive Space Missions and a former Mission Systems Engineer, at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. 

Mumford

Having joined the satellite industry 1997 with Williams Global Access (later became Loral Cyberstar) Scott has had a varied career over the past 23 years. With having extensive experience in multiple disciplines from Teleport/Network engineering with Kingston (later to become Arqiva) to Solution and commercial design engineering (with both Datasat and Liquid) his experience now sees him as the CEO of Liquid Telecom Satellite Services, a division within the Liquid Telecom Group.

Sweeting

Prof. Sir Martin Sweeting pioneered rapid-response, low-cost and highly capable small satellites utilizing modern consumer (COTS) electronics devices to change the economics of space.

In 1985, he founded a spin-off University company (SSTL) which has designed, built, launched and operated in orbit 69 nano, micro and mini-satellites for communications & Earth observation – as well as 34 navigation payloads for the European Galileo constellation. SSTL has grown to 400 staff, alongside the academic Surrey Space Centre researching advanced small satellite concepts and techniques.

Muchoney

Douglas Muchoney is Senior Environment Officer and Head of the Geospatial Unit (CBDS) in the Climate, Biodiversity, Land and Water Department (CB) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Prior to this position, he was Chief, Forestry Policy and Resources at FAO Rome. At FAO Forestry, Douglas was responsible for the Climate Change and Resilience, Global Forest Resources Assessment and Forest Resources Management teams.

Derrey

In February 2020, Hervé Derrey was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Thales Alenia Space and Executive Vice President for Space for the Thales group. He was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Thales Secure Information and Communications Systems Global Business Unit. In 2011, he was named Vice President, Strategic and Infrastructure Networks, then from 2012 to 2016 served as Vice President for Thales’ global Radiocommunication Products Business Line.

Tetrault

Robert Tetrault is the Director of the International Production Assessment Division (IPAD), Foreign Agricultural Service, USDA which publishes the monthly World Agricultural Production. The monthly World Agricultural Production is published in conjunction with USDA’s World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates and USDA’s Production Supply and Distribution database. Together, these products update the global food, feed and fiber supply and demand information. IPAD’s responsibility is foreign agricultural crop production within USDA’s economic information system.

Haniotis

Tassos Haniotis is Director for "Strategy, Simplification and Policy Analysis" in the DG for Agriculture and Rural development of the European Commission. During his 30-year career in the European Commission he has also held posts as Acting Director for Direct Payments, Head of Unit in the Agricultural Policy Analysis and Perspectives Unit and the Agricultural Trade Policy Analysis Unit in DG AGRI, as Deputy Head of Cabinet of former European Commissioner for Agriculture Franz Fischler, and as Agricultural Counsellor in the European Commission’s Delegation in the US.
